CORREO AEREO’S
“PENA HUASTECA”

in film and on soundtrack to
THE LIFE OF DAVID GALE
DIRECTED BY ALAN PARKER

"Pena Huasteca,” a song from Correo Aereo's latest CD Lo Que Me Dijo El Viento can be heard in the Universal Pictures’ film The Life of David Gale directed by Alan Parker (Midnight Express, Pink Floyd The Wall) starring two-time Academy Award®-winner Kevin Spacey and Oscar®-nominees Kate Winslet and Laura Linney which opened in theatres February 21, 2003.

"Pena Huasteca," a haunting Mexican ballad appears in the film as well as on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack released on Decca/UMG earlier this month. The soundtrack features Correo Aereo's "Pena Huasteca," as well as a track from another legendary Austin artist, Toni Price. Jake and Alex Parker (sons to Alan Parker) composed the score to the film.

The Life of David Gale, a taut suspense thriller about an anti-death penalty activist who found himself on death row, is a Saturn Films/Intermedia/Dirty Hands production which Parker produced with Nicolas Cage and Jeff Levine. It was filmed entirely in and around Austin, Texas.

The soundtrack is available online and in stores now.
